Beam Me Up Scotty
Enter the realm of science fiction — well, almost. Quantum teleportation is a very real, very spooky reality. Currently being used to investigate quantum states of particles thanks to the principles of entanglement, this kind of teleportation is rather useless with regard to a quick family visit halfway across the globe. What I'm more interested in is the Star Trek — beam me up Scotty, now you see me, now I'm over there — kind of thing.
Take A Peak
Just a few exerts from my own favorite piece. Why my favorite? Because I said so.

Make It Up As You Go
This is more believable than life forming on another planet, with maybe just a 5,000-year head start?
If we—the same species that eats dish soap for social validation—can go from inventing the light bulb to publicly available AI in 150 years, what might they accomplish in 5,000? Finding us is the only truly difficult part in all that.

Ctrl + Alt + Evolve
But now that neural implants are inching toward reality, can we please talk about the actual benefits instead of just fantasizing about robot overlords and meatless mind control?
